Sœur de Dominique Boulay, Mme Jean Moulard prit part, avec sa fille Julie, à l’expérience fouriériste de Réunion (Texas). Toutes deux restèrent à Dallas après la dissolution de la colonie.
Après la guerre de Sécession, Mme Moulard revint en France pour y chercher sa famille. Tous s’installèrent finalement à Irving (Texas).
